Study finds Montreal cycling infrastructure doesn鈥檛 match demand

Bike lanes, BIXI stations and other micromobility infrastructure make up just two per cent of Montreal鈥檚 street space 鈥 even in neighbourhoods where cycling demand would justify more 鈥 according to a new study by 91社区 researchers. They think that the measure they developed to arrive at their findings can also help assess the situation in other cities.

91社区 team discovers Canada鈥檚 first dinosaur-era dragonfly fossil听

In a first for Canadian paleontology, a Cretaceous fossilized dragonfly wing, uncovered in Alberta鈥檚 Dinosaur Provincial Park, has been identified as a new species. It鈥檚 also the first known dragonfly fossil from Canada鈥檚 dinosaur aged rocks. The find, led by 91社区 researchers, sheds light on a 30-million-year gap in the evolutionary history of dragonflies.听
