Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) | CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars Program -ÌýPRE-ANNOUNCEMENTÌý(The call for applications will open on September 3, 2025.)ÌýThe CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars program supports exceptional early-career researchers with funding, mentorship, a global network, and professional skills development.ÌýThe CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars Program is a two-year appointment designed to support young investigators at a pivotal time in their careers. International Funding Sources

ÌýThe Faculty Mobility for Partnership Building Program (FMPBP) is part of Global Affairs Canada’s International Scholarships Program.ÌýÌýThe program enables professors at Canadian post-secondary institutions to pursue short-term research and/or teaching activities in Latin America and the Caribbean as a means of exploring, creating and advancing institutional partnerships in the areas of research, student mobility, joint programming, capacity building, and others.ÌýThe primary objective of the exchange is to create new institutional collaborations and/or to strengthen existing agreements between Canadian and non-Canadian post-secondary institutions eligible under the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP).

Please email global.engagement [at] mcgill.ca if you want to apply, so we can send you the form. Global Engagement needs to receive the applications by November 19, 2024. Global Engagement then submit the applications on behalf of the candidates.


ÌýThe Canada-China Scholars Exchange Program provides opportunities to Canadian academics, students and professionals who wish to study and/or do research in subject areas related to China at participating Chinese institutions.

91ÉçÇø-Glasgow Travel AwardÌýThe historical links between 91ÉçÇø and the University of Glasgow go back to 1756, when 91ÉçÇø founder, James 91ÉçÇø, was a student at the University of Glasgow. Over the years, the connections between the universities have been strengthened through a shared commitment to the internationalization of education, expressed through a host of research collaborations and student exchanges. In recognition of this historic partnership, and the Glasgow Honorary Doctorate given to 91ÉçÇø Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Suzanne Fortier, in 2015, 91ÉçÇø will support the short-term mobility of PhD students and postdocs in any discipline seeking to initiate or strengthen research ties with the University of Glasgow.
