MEd Learning Sciences

Our Master of Education degree in Learning Science and Educational Psychology offers a comprehensive and advanced study of the intricacies of learning processes and the psychological aspects of education. The program provides two distinct tracks tailored to different career paths. The Science of Learning and Teaching track focuses on preparing educators and educational leaders to make a significant impact within educational institutions at local and government levels. This track delves into pedagogical strategies, curriculum development, and educational leadership, empowering teachers to implement evidence-based practices and contribute to educational policy. Graduates emerge prepared to address the evolving challenges in education and have promising job prospects in roles such as Master Teacher, Course Developer, Director of Teaching and Learning, Instructional Support Specialist, Academic Advisor, E-Learning Designer, K-12 Technology Integration Specialist, Policy Analyst, Educational Consultant, and Corporate Trainer, where their expertise in learning science and educational psychology is highly valued.

The second track, Applied Methods and Data Science, caters to individuals aspiring to work in industry or research outside of academia. With a focus on data-driven approaches and cutting-edge methodologies, this track equips students for roles in educational technology, data analysis, and research positions in organizations aiming to improve learning outcomes. With a Master of Education (MEd) focused on the intersection of learning science, educational technology, and applied data methods, you combine education with highly technical fields, making your skill set applicable to a wide range of innovative careers.
