91ÉçÇø

Entrepreneurship

Exploring your entrepreneurial side through student clubs, coursework and by starting your own business offers unique and exciting challenges. At 91ÉçÇø there are several opportunities to receive funding, mentorship and guidance.

91ÉçÇø Engineering Student Centre (MESC) has funding opportunities for New Projects.

The Faculty of Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship hub (The 91ÉçÇø EngInE), focuses on stimulating technologically-based innovation and entrepreneurship at 91ÉçÇø in collaboration with the 91ÉçÇø Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship, the 91ÉçÇø Invention Development and Entrepreneurship Assistance (IDEA) Group, the Quartier de l’innovation, and the 91ÉçÇø Innovation Constellation. Leveraging the Faculty of Engineering’s research and educational programs, the EngInE’s two-fold mission is  1) to help develop the next-generation of 91ÉçÇø technological innovators and entrepreneurs by providing education and advice, funding, and mentorship; and 2) to increase engagement and R&D collaborations between innovation-driven companies and the Faculty of Engineering by providing matching and facilitation services. The events that the EngInE hosts or co-hosts are geared towards inspiring, educating, and training students and professors in entrepreneurship and technological innovation, and connecting and networking with each other and the community.
