This study is part of a collaborative initiativ e with the Université de Sherbrooke where Dr. van Vugt also holds a cross- appointment as Visiting Professor. During her talk she will discuss the re sults of this study. In addition\, Dr. van Vugt will present one of her ne w projects in Canada: “Meet the Parents”\, which will be conducted in coll aboration with Highland Shores Children’s Aids Services\, Ontario.\n\nThe focus of this project is on caregiver characteristics (in terms of adverse life events and trauma-related symptoms) and how these affect child safet y\, the therapeutic alliance with protection workers\, as well as the type and duration of services provided by the CAS.
