DESCRIPTION:Target audience: Novice instructors or those with limited simul
 ation-based training using high-fidelity manikins\n\nThis workshop is desi
 gned for teaching faculty who are involved (or will be involved) as instru
 ctors in simulation-based learning activities. This practical workshop wil
 l provide participants with a brief overview of the relevant educational b
 ackground\, followed by opportunities to practice debriefing skills with e
 xperienced educators in a safe learning environment. Participants will be 
 able to incorporate skills they learn in this workshop immediately into th
 eir teaching sessions\, working to optimize the learning of their students
 .\n\nAt the end of this session\, the participant will be able to:\n\n\n	Ou
 tline principles of effective debriefing sessions for simulation-based edu
 cation\n	Apply a framework to debriefing in the simulation context​\n\n\nTh
 is workshop is an Accredited Simulation Activity (Section 3) and is eligib
