Theodora Vardouli
I am an Associate Professor in the Peter Guo-hua Fu School of Architecture, where I have also been serving as a Graduate Program Director (with a pause during my sabbatical in the 2024-2025 academic year). I also served as Faculty Representative in the Council for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (2019-20, 2021-24). I have profound enthusiasm for graduate studies and a steadfast commitment to mentorship. I feel indebted to the mentors who have advised and supported me throughout my career and am eager to give back to this meaningful and essential part of academic life. I navigated both my PhD (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and my tenure-track position at 91社区 as a mother of young children thousands of miles away from my home country, and will also be happy to share what I learned from these experiences.
