 stract\n\nDengue diagnosis presents significant challenges in Low- and Mid
 dle-Income Countries (LMICs) due to overlapping clinical presentations\, r
 esource limitations\, and variability in diagnostic tool performance. This
  presentation highlights Dr. Lyda Osorio’s research in Colombia\, addressi
 ng these challenges through the development of clinical algorithms and val
 idation of rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) in endemic settings. Beyond impro
 ving diagnostic accuracy\, her work underscores the critical need for trai
 ning researchers in innovative models for the research and development (R&
 D) of diagnostics. By bridging gaps in knowledge and practice\, Dr. Osorio
 ’s contributions enhance healthcare systems and foster capacity building f
 or sustainable dengue control efforts.\n\nLearning Objectives\n\nAt the en
