This presentation highlights Dr. Lyda Osorio’s research in Colombia\, addressi ng these challenges through the development of clinical algorithms and val idation of rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) in endemic settings. Beyond impro ving diagnostic accuracy\, her work underscores the critical need for trai ning researchers in innovative models for the research and development (R& D) of diagnostics.
