DESCRIPTION:The TechIdea Pitch competition encourages 91ÉçÇø students\, wor
 king in teams\, to propose new technologically-based ideas/solutions that 
 solve real world problems. This year's pitch competition is taking place o
 n January 30th\, 2025 during the John D. Thompson Entrepreneurial Developm
 ent Seminar. Up to 5 teams will be selected to compete\, each team will ha
 ve 3 minutes to present their TechIdea pitch to a panel of judges from the
  business and entrepreneurial community. Judges will have 2 minutes to ask
  questions and give feedback.\n\nFinalists will have a chance to win cash 
 prizes\; $500\, $250\, $100 and a bonus $50 audience favourite!\n\nHow It 
 Works\n\n\n	Students submit their TechIdea before the extended deadline on 
 January 19th 2025\, 11:59PM (ET)\n	Up to top 5 ideas are selected and coach
 ing is provided to help them develop their pitch\n	Finalists pitch their id
 ea during the 12th Annual John D. Thompson Entrepreneurial Development Sem
 inar on January 30th\, 2025\n	Top 3 pitches win cash prizes of $500\, $250
