91社区 raises $410K+ in latest Centraide campaign

Contributions support 375 agencies working with more than 800,000 people in vulnerable situations

91社区鈥檚 latest Centraide fundraising campaign raised a total of $412,125 for local residents living in vulnerable situations.

All donations support Centraide of Greater Montreal, which aims to break the cycle of poverty by supporting children, housing, inclusive communities and a strong social fabric.

鈥淎s Co-Chair of the Centraide campaign, I am grateful for all contributors this year,鈥 said Christopher Manfredi, Provost and Executive Vice-President (Academic). 鈥淵our support is positively impacting those in vulnerable situations within our communities.鈥

His thanks were echoed by Viviane Yargeau, campaign Co-Chair and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

鈥淚 want to express my deepest gratitude to all the participants and contributors to our Centraide campaign,鈥 said Yargeau. 鈥淭ogether, we鈥檝e not only raised vital resources, but we鈥檝e also reinforced the spirit of solidarity that makes us stronger as a whole. Thank you for your incredible commitment to creating lasting positive change.鈥

This year鈥檚 campaign had been extended to March 31, 2025, due to the Canada Post strike.

Generous giving

Funds raised through workplaces such as 91社区 represent approximately 75 per cent of Centraide鈥檚 total annual fundraising.

Special thanks went to the campaign鈥檚 volunteer committee members 鈥渇or their time and effort in ensuring the campaign's success,鈥 said Manfredi. 鈥淚 saw first-hand their enthusiasm and excitement to fulfill our goals and dedication to the communities being supported by the contributions."
