 \n\n \n\n \n\nAs a Linux-based operating system\, Ubuntu is an alternative
  to MacOS or Windows. It is widely used on server infrastructure and among
 st the scientific community. Especially\, when you want to work with remot
 e research servers or databases\, you might need to know your way around t
 he Linux command line.\n	\n	At the end of this workshop\, you will:\n	   > ha
 ve a basic understanding of the Ubuntu operating system\n	   > be able to u
 se SSH to log into a remote computer\n	   > be able to work with files and 
 folders\n	   > be able to manage users and permissions\n	   > be able to ins
 tall and update software\n\nPre-requisites? None. The workshop will use a 
 virtual Linux environment on our classroom computers. If you want to use y
 our own laptop\, please have Ubuntu installed (there is an easy to install
  dual boot option for Windows computers).\n\nDate: Wednesday\, May 18th\,
