Members engage in basic and clinical research into how memory works and why it fails. There are four presentation options for you to consider:\n\nSympo sia (90 min): Present a  topic that is of relevance to MDRS that is innova tive and timely. Indicate this\, with a clear title\, summary abstract and the names of at least four speakers that will present (titles and abstrac t for each presentation) as well as the name of the chair/discussant that will lead an open Q&A\n\nOpen Talks: 7-min talk with 3 minutes of question s to present completed study or topic.\n\nNEW: Debate sessions (60 min): P resent a resolution to be debated between two teams of 2 to 3 members\, bo th teams  will open with remarks (10 minutes each team\; divided amongst t eam member)\, followed by two rounds of rebuttals (10 minutes each team) a nd lively discussion\n\nNEW: Half-baked Ideas: 7-min talk with 5-min for q uestions/feedback on a new idea or unfinish study. Collaborating presenter s encouraged.\n\n\nOpen Mic - A Tribute to Past Members\n\nAs a part of th e Welcome Reception on October 16 (Thomson House)\, we invite attendees to participate in an Open Mic Tribute.
